What is an ITF Challenger?
The challenger series is part of the International Tennis Federation world tour, which is designed to provide opportunities to aspiring professionals beginning their careers, pros trying to improve their world ranking and top junior players. You will be watching some of the best women tennis players and those who will lead the ranks in the future.
Where is the event?
The Abony Family Tennis Center in Fredericton will be hosting the event. This is the first time a women's pro event has been in New Brunswick.
Overview of the event
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are qualifying rounds. On Tuesday a few 1st round matches will also be played.
Matches on these days will start approximately at 10am
PLEASE TAKE NOTE:
Due to the uncertainty of which players make it through to the singles as well as the doubles next rounds, starting times could be changed the evening before.
